Many people make the mistake of selecting a toilet as the last choice when renovating or designing their dream bathroom. You do not need to make this same mistake.
The toilet is no longer the ugly object in the corner that you try and hide away with selectively placed bathroom cabinets, vanity units, or trendy storage systems. It can now be the centrepiece of your unique design.
With the amount of times you are going to be using your toilet in its lifetime, it is best to choose something that looks great, feels good, and looks like it belongs in your bathroom design. This doesn’t mean you have to select an expensive suite. There are many toilet bowls and suites available for heavily reduced prices that would fool many people into believing they belong in an exclusive 5-star hotel.
There are toilet bowls and cisterns that suit any style of home decor. The Victorian era look for homes trying to hold onto their heritage; art deco for the hip retro fans; run-of-the-mill standard design for the family home; or ultra modern designs with all sorts of angles for the young professional.
Don’t forget to select something that is compatible with your existing plumbing system. This is where the cost can blow out. Just remember that an S-Trap toilet is for waste through the floor and P-trap for waste through the wall.
